Rob Gurner – Fund Manager

Rob graduated from Exeter University in 1995 with a Masters Degree in Finance and holds a degree in Economics from the University of Wales. Before joining Barings in 1997 he had been an analyst at Royal & Sun Alliance. He has been investing on a long/short basis in European smaller companies since January 1999 when he was a founder employee at Ennismore Fund Management.

Justin Waine – Fund Manager

Justin joined Polar Capital in January 2005 from Cazenove where he was part of the German and Swiss small and mid-cap equities team working as a research analyst. He joined Cazenove as a graduate trainee in 1998 following a degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Oxford University.

Andrew Marsh – Fund Manager

Andrew joined Polar in October 2006 with 3 years experience in European smaller companies, gained as head of equity sales for the European Smaller Companies team at Investec, and as an analyst on the European Small & Mid cap team at Merrill Lynch. Prior to this he was Director of research at ING Financial markets, Pan-European technology research team. He graduated in 1994 from Sheffield University with a BSc in Computer Science.

Michael Vise – Investment Analyst

CFA Charterholder and Chartered Accountant, with background in risk management and fund operations. He joined the team in October 2005.
