Tim Woolley is one of the two original founders of Polar Capital Funds Plc. Tim, 51 has extensive experience in the fund management industry. He had a successful career in technology fund management at Prolific and then at Henderson where he together with Brian Ashford-Russell built a highly regarded global technology franchise. In 2001, Tim and Brian left Henderson and with the assistance of Caledonia Investments Plc, founded Polar Capital. Since establishing the Company, he has been actively involved in the management of the business. In 2007 he relinquished all his fund management responsibilities which enabled him in 2009 to take on the role as Chief Executive.
